It will be priced between 25 lak to 30 lakh will be available in Race Blu or Tech Black colour variant in April 2017. It will lock horn with Honda, KTM, BMW and Kawasaki in sports bike market.
2017 Yamaha R6 is almost identical to Yamaha R1 specially designed a special Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) welding technology and lightweight aluminium streamlined tank. It’s powered by a 4 stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve per cylinder, parallel twin engine that comes with 499cc of displacement which can produce a maximum power of 197.3 Bhp @ 13,500 rpm and generates a top torque of 112.4 Nm @ 11,500 rpm likely to matted with 6-speed transmission including 6-level TCS for different riding conditions.
Yamaha R6 also comes with so many revised gradation like design, ABS brakes, YZF-R1’s radial braking system, traction control, optional quick shifter, riding modes, suspension package and ride-by-wire. It expected to rocket with a top speed at 299 kmph capable to archive 0-100km in 1.5 sec. No wonder it will offer you mileage up to 15kml.
R6 also comes with Twin-injector Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T), Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCC-I), new fully adjustable 43mm KYB USDs forks, 43mm diameter tubes, newly-designed adjustable KYB rear shock, new traction control system offers smother riding experience and ride-by-wire system that comes with three riding modes for safety and comfort.
