Fiat unveiled its updated and refreshed version of Fiat 500 on Frankfurt Motor Show at Germany, and so far only the European model has been shown. The 2016 Fiat 500 is still some way off but an updated version is being introduced in the meantime to keep fans satisfied.
In this updated version has minor updates to the exterior and interior styling bring a slightly more refined look for the updated 2016 Fiat 500 with some new safety features and technical changes make the card feel more mature and sophisticated. Inside of the new 2016 Fiat 500, featuring a redesigned a steering wheels, an updated ‘U-Connect’ infotainment system makes an appearance mid-dash, new chrome-plated accents and nine colour combination for the interior upholstery options, while seven air bags are now standard across the range.
Under the hood all engines have now been tweaked to meet imminent Euro-6 standard. The 2016 Fiat 500 packs a 1.2-litre with 69hp/0.9-litre Twin Air engine available in two power tunes that is, 85hp or 105hp. Fiat also adding a diesel variant for the first time on Fiat 500 refreshed model, which is powered by the 1.3-litre diesel Multi jet Engine delivering 95PS and emitting only 99 gram per kilometre of CO2. the engines are coupled with 6-speed manual and Magneti-Marelli-Developed Dualogic automated manual transmission.
The update and refreshed model of Fiat 500 will be presented to the public this September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it will go on sale across the European Market from EUR10,890 and rises to EUR17,070. A soft-top 500c has been carried over and asks a EUR 2,650 premium standard.
