The 2016 Audi A4 e-tron arrives with a solid design and Specification, but no surprise, because Audi already says that the formula for new Audi A4 is one everybody know that, make it large, added a bunch of contents reduce weight and improve power and efficiency. This is the formula of a success and 2016 Audi A4 combined it, and it look solid contender against its main rivals, the BMW 3 series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
The shape of the 2016 Audi A4 e-tron has not changed, immediately recognizable as A4. They retained their familiar design with sharper lines, just like new Audi Q7 or even the Audi R8. The 2016 Audi A4 e-tron has the latest generation of Audi’s MMi interface, Navigation, Touch Capability, LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi in the 8.3-inch colour display.
The e-tron models are basically models from Audi that can runs on CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and Petrol. A 2.0-litre engine powers the Audi A4 e-tron, and has an out put of 170hp and 270Nm. This gives a mileage of 100km in 4Kg of gas. Giving it a range of over 500Km in CNG alone. When the pressure in the gas tank falls below 10 bar, this indicates the ECU that the fuel is low, which then switches the fuel supply to petrol, this operation can be done manually as well. Switching it to petrol adds 450Km of range.
For the US Specification car will come with the latest 2.0-litre TSFI turbo-charged inliner-four with 272hp, as well as Audi’s tried and true 2.0litre TDI diesel four front and all wheel drives.
Front and all wheel drive will be available and for the first time, two wheel drive model will get proper dual-clutch transmission.
