The Mercedes-Benz S500 coupe and the S63 AMG Coupe have been launched in India. German luxury carmaker is quite confident about their success in the Indian market.Mercedes-Benz has adopted the philosophy of ‘Live The Best’ and are offering international products in Indian market.

Engine and Transmission

Powering the S500 coupe will be a 4.7-litre, twin-turbo V8 that produces 455 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, while the S63 AMG will b e powered by a 5.5-litre, V8 biturbo engine that delivers a total of 585 horsepower and 900 Nm of peak torque.

The S500 will be equipped with a 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission and the S63 AMG will come with a AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission.

The new S63 AMG Coupe gets a revised fascia and many more changes that help one to distinguish it from the S-Class. The car gets an aggressive front profile that boasts of the AMG-specific grille and a front splitter. It also comes with side skirting, a rear diffuser and chrome accentuated twin exhaust pipes on the rear bumper. The S500 Coupe is basically a two-door version of the S500 but looks so much better than the four-door.
