Honda BR-V SUV official Sketches Released

Honda Motors has released the sketches of it’s new SUV, Honda BR-V. Which going to make it’s  world premier at the upcoming Gaikindo Indonasia International Auto-show 2015, scheduled to held between August 20th to 30th this year in Tangerang, Indonesia.Honda BR-V

The Honda Br-V is built on same platform as the Honda Brio, Ameze and Mobilio. It was jointly developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific in Thailand and Honda R&D Indonesia.

Honda BR-V face is likely high-mounted Honda bar a CR-V like two part grille and lower bumper that features plenty as slashes and cut around the fog light. There’s also the prominent scuff plate under the chin and at the rear which adds to the aggressive look.

Honda Motor says that the Honda BR-V adopts a rather bold design, aggressive rugged exterior appeal, large alloy wheels, sleek roof rails and generous ground clearance. The company confirmed that the SUV Crossover will be loaded with a good number of safety features, as all standard in all variants.

The Honda BR-V could finally get Honda’s updated interiors, which should appeal to many car buyers in India. The SUV crossover will arrange seven seats in three rows. Though on practical note. It is quite vague if the third row seat will be that much comfortable in a car precisely called crossover.

Honda BR-V has 1.5-litre petrol engine with two advanced transmission. It likely to same Mobilio’s 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine will produce around 120PS power output and 145Nm of torque, and 5-speed manual transmission and automatic transmission gear-box. Though the Indian market, the company might also offer the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine will produce 98.6bhp. There is likely to be an automatic transmission version as well.

The Honda BR-V likely to be introduced in India at 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, before market launch. The price and launching information not provided the company. We are not able to give any information regarding this.

At last I would like to say that, the Honda motor prepare them self to compete with others like Hyundai Creta. What do you think ? Please make a comment.
