Kawasaki has launched it’s faster, lighter and most affordable super bike, New Kawasaki Ninja Z250 at an event in Wakdewadi, Pune, India on 16th Oct. 2014 priced at Rs 2.99 lakh(Ex-showroom Delhi) along with Kawasaki ER-6n(Rs 4.78 lakh). It shares plate form with Ninja 250R but biggest competitor of KTM Duke 350(Motoroid)
The all new 2014 Kawasaki Ninja Z250 is powered by a 249cc, four-stroke, DOHC, 8 Valve, liquid-cooled and parallel twin-cylinder engine like Ninja 250R capable of producing peak power of 32PS @ 11,000 RPM and maximum torque of 21Nm @ 10,000 RPM mated with a 6 Speed, Constant Mesh Type, Return Shift transmission with fuel-injection system and dual throttle valve technology fitted with a 17-litres fuel tank weight 168kg.
It’s looks smiler to Ninja Z800 but offers you new head-lamp assembly, side rear view mirrors and tank design combines analogue tachometer and LCD screen display for speed, trip and fuel information, instrument cluster, tail section, alloy wheels and exhaust slimier to Ninja 250R but missing ABS(Anti-Lock Breaking System) in such a price is really a heart breaker for Sports bike lovers.
At last I would like to say that new 2014 Kawasaki Ninja Z250 is going to rule the Indian road but pricing should be under Rs 1lakh. What you think? Please be open to give your view.
