To give us a problem free future, BMW brings you All-electric 2014 BMW i3 SUV to meet the demands of sustainable and emission-free mobility.  It’s unveiled  at New York City along with i8 concept slated to hit U.S dealership by 2014  price  between 35,000 and 40,000 euros ($43,500 to $50,000 ).

The 2014 BMW i3 will be the first “premium electric vehicle” to launch from BMW’s new i sub brand which  uses an electric motor over the rear axle generating an output of 125 kW/170 hp and impressive torque of 250 Nm (184 lb-ft). It draws energy from the battery to provide drive to the rear wheels via a single-speed transmission.

The four seater, five-door SUV comes with  3845mm in length, 2011mm in width and 1537mm in height, offers you 200 liters of luggage space. It can rocket  from 0 to 60 km/h (37 mph) in under four seconds and from still to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than eight seconds. The electric vehicle has a driving range between 85 and 100 miles on a single charge.

It also combines a next generations  eDrive technology consisting  an innovative battery technology, an intelligent engine management system and intelligent BMW ConnectedDrive assistance systems. According to BMW
