The most stylish super sports car, the new 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 made it’s U.S debut at 2013 New York Auto Show which first unveiled at 2013 Geneva Auto Show slated to go sale in the United States by late 2013 priced at $131,350 plus $950 destination charge.
The all new 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 features the first active rear-wheel steering in a production Porsche as well as optional full LED headlights. It’s based on the light yet stiff body of the current generation 911 Carrera, which employs a hybrid steel and aluminum construction. It’s powered by a 3.8-liter boxer engine churns out peak power of 475 hp (125 hp/liter) featuring a 9,000 rpm redline and a specially developed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) which drives the rear wheels. The six-cylinder engine is based on the same engine as the 911 Carrera S mated with a dual-clutch seven-speed transmission and active rear-wheel steering.
It can rocket from 0-60-mph in 3.5-second with a top-speed of 195 mph weighing just 3200 lb (est) fitted with a 16.9 gallons (optional 23.8 gallons) fuel tank expected to give you 18/26 mpg (est) and 0.93 lb/mile (est) CO2 emission.
