Japanese car maker Honda Motors has launched all new Brio Amaze sedan in Thailand priced between 454,000 THB and 521,000 THB in four variants (two automatic and two manual) with 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine which slated to launch in India on 11th April 2013 priced between Rs 5 lakhs to 7.5 lakhs. It stands close to new Maruti SX4, Swift DZire and Hyundai Verna in Indian market.(businesstoday)
New Amaze comes both Diesel and petrol engine option. The Honda’s first diesel car, Brio Amaze will be powered by a 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine based on the 1.6 liter EarthDream producing maximum power output of 100PS@3600rpm and 200 Nm of torque @1750 rpm mated with a five-speed manual transmission promising you good fuel economy 25.8 km/l having a powered to rocket with a top-speed of 170kph.
This four meter sedan also offers you Brio’s peppy 1.2-litre, 88bhp petrol engine mated to either a five speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission. It’s height is 1680 mm, length 3990, wheelbase 2405 mm, width 1500 mm and weight under 1100 kg and cargo space is 400liters.
It also offers you Honda’s advance active and passive safety features like dual SRS front airbags, ABS, EBD, 3-point ELR seat belts and impact-mitigating headrests. The front body structure is equipped with Pedestrian injury mitigation technology designed to absorb impact energy. The rear too has a shock absorbing structure which protects occupants in case of a rear crash.
