The great news for SUV lovers, Honda Motors has  launched it’s fourth generation SUV, the all new 2013 CR-V in India in February  price starts at  between Rs 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This efficient and stylish is on sale in U.S market from 6th September 2012 price starts  at $22,695.

MODELS AND PRICING(ex-showroom Delhi):-

  1. 2.0 litre 2WD MT – Rs 19.95 lakh 
  2. 2.0 litre 2WD AT – Rs 20.85 lakh  
  3. 2.4 litre 4WD AT – Rs 22.40 lakh 
  4. 2.4 litre 4WD AT – Rs 23.85 lakh (Audio Video Navigation)

The all new 2013 Honda CR-V comes only in two petrol engine option both 2WD and 4WD model but Honda’s new Earth Dreams Technology 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine will be included soon.  The  2.0 litre SOHC i-VTEC engine  produces 156PS @ 6500rpm mated with  either a 5-speed automatic transmission or a 6 speed manual offers you ARAI certified mileage of 13.7 kmpl while 2.4 litre DOHC i-VTEC offers 190PS on tap at 7000rpm mated with standard 5-speed automatic transmission offers you mileage 12 kmpl.( 23/31/26 mpg city/highway/combined in USA).

It also offers you a leather-trimmed interior, 10-way power driver’s seat, automatic dual-zone climate control, and a 328-watt 7-speaker audio system with XM® Radio3. Available features for the CR-V EX-L include the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System4 with Voice Recognition™ and FM Traffic, or a DVD Rear Entertainment System5. Real Time AWD (all-wheel drive) with a swift-acting electronic Intelligent Control System™ including A standard full-color “intelligent” Multi-Information Display (i-MID) offers a range of customizable features via fingertip controls on the steering wheel. A multi-angle rearview camera, standard on all models, provides a choice of three different views on the i-MID or navigation screen, offering more visual information for the driver when backing up.

It equpied with Standred Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink™ phone interface offers convenient hands-free calling. Models equipped with the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ include FM Traffic, which has no monthly fee.  A DVD Rear Entertainment System (RES) with a 7-inch screen and a wireless remote control is available on the CR-V EX-L.

This is not enough, it also combines advance safety features like VSA electronic stability control system with roll-over sensor; ABS with Brake Assist; driver and front-passenger airbags; side-curtain airbags; front-side airbags with a passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS); and a front seat design that can help reduce the severity of neck injury in the event of a rear collision. An Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure, A pedestrian injury mitigation design,  daytime running lights (DRL).
