2014 Volkswagen XL1 Concept will Make it’s Global Debut at 2013 Geneva Motor Show

2013 Geneva Motor show going to make history because The world’s most efficient production car, the all new 2014 Volkswagen XL1 Concept with the best fuel efficiency of 313 MPG in U.K ( 261 MPGe in U.S , 111 Kmpl in India) going to make it’s global debut this month. It expected to launch by the end of 2013 priced under $95,000. It will take on Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt.

2014 Volkswagen XL1 first look

The all new 2014 XL1 emits just 21 g/km of CO2, less than Toyota Prius. thanks to its high-tech lightweight design, aerodynamic efficiency, and a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 47-hp two-cylinder TDI® engine, a 27-hp electric motor, a seven-speed DSG® dual-clutch automatic transmission, and a lithium-ion battery. The the two-seat XL1 can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 12.7 seconds with a top speed of 99 mph.

The XL1 is 153.1 inches long, 65.6 in wide, and just 45.4 in tall and weighting 795 kg.  It also cover up to 32 miles as a zero-emissions vehicle in all-electric mode and requires less than 0.1 kWh to cover more than a kilometer.
