2014 Volkswagen Golf BlueMotion Concept With Fuel Economy 73.5 mpg Debuted at 2012 Paris Auto Show

German auto maker Volkswagen has wonderfully combined style,luxury and next generation technology while making the most fuel efficient VW,  all new 2014 Golf BlueMotion Concept  with 73.5 mpg debuted at 2012 Paris Auto Show  going to hit the U.S market by early 2014. Pricing of new Golf not confirmed yet.

New VW Golf BlueMotion wil come in two models, Trendline and Comfortline, both available with 15- and 16-inch wheels to optimise weight, aerodynamics and rolling resistance.

New VW Golf BlueMotion is a five-seater hatchback powered by 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder diesel engine mated with a 5-speed manual transmission plus fuel saving Stop/Start technology and battery regeneration systems.  It can give you 15% improved fuel economy than existing Golf, it’s  73.5 mpg on the Euro combined cycle while emitting  85g/km of CO2. It’s fitted with a 50-liter (13.2 gallon) fuel tank promising you long distance range of 970 miles.

It also combines innovative technology like multi-collision brake and pre-crash systems, ultra-low-rolling resistance tires and a new touchscreen infotainment system.
