Mercedes-Benz  rocked the 2012 Paris Auto Sow after debuting, the fastest production electric supercar, new SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive which slated for launch by June, 2013 priced at €416,500 ($536,577) in Germany, the U.S price will be announced later this year.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive is powered by a four synchronous electric motors weighing 45 kilograms (99 lbs) producing  output of 740-hp and maximum torque of 737 lb-ft. having a power to rocket from  0 to 62 mph(0 to 100 kilometers per hour)  in just 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph(250 km/h). Total driving range on a full charge is up to 150 miles(250 kilometers).

SLS AMG  uses Formula 1 high-voltage lithium-ion batteries rated at 60 kWh and 400 volts takes 20 hours for complete charge from a standard mains outlet while through an optional 22 kW wall box it takes only three hour.

This is not enough, it’s also offers you the innovative three different driving modes as Comfort (C), Sport (S) and Sport plus (S+) to improve performance. It also combines AMG Torque Dynamics which allows individual control of the electric motors and selectively distributes the forces for each individual wheel.
