BMW Concept Active Tourer Will Launch By Late 2013, Fuel Economy 94 mpg and Top- speed 124 mph

German automobile Manufacturer BMW has unveiled it’s  first-ever front-wheel drive car at 2012 Paris Motor Show which expected to launch by late 2013. It’s  influenced by the new BMW 3 Series just 171 inches long.

Upcoming BMW Concept Active Tourer is a four door, plug-in hybrid hatchback with four-wheel drive featuring a 1.5-liter turbocharged, three-cylinder gasoline-powered engine makes 190 horsepower and 147 pound feet of torque powered by a a lithium-ion battery pack.  BMW claims  to rocket from 0-60 mph  in 8 seconds with a top- speed of 124 mph achieves average  fuel consumption of 94 mpg on the European cycle. It can be powered for up to 20 miles in electric-only mode.
