South Korean Auto maker Hyundai has launched the fluidic 2012 Elantra priced between Rs 12.51 lakh to 15.85 lakhs. It will take on Toyota Corolla and Chevrolet Cruze.
The Elantra is powered by a 1,797cc petrol and 1,582cc diesel engine, both of which are offered with a choice of manual or automatic transmission. It’s The new comes in 7 variants: four diesel and three petrol. According to Economics Times.
- The petrol variants of the saloon will be priced between Rs 12.51-14.24 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
- The diesel variants will come in the price range of Rs 12.91-15.85 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Elantra 1,797cc, four cylinder petrol engine churns out 149.5PS @6,500 rpm and a 181Nm of torque @ 4700 rpm mated with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission offers you a good mileage over 16kmpl . It will cost you between Rs 12.51-14.24 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
While The 1,582cc diesel CRDi engine pumps out 128PS @ 4000 rpm at 265Nm of torque between 1,900-2,750 rpm mated with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission offers you mileage over 22kmpl . It will cost you Rs 12.91-15.85 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
