Japanese Auto maker Honda Motors has wonderfully combined the next generation technology and styling with world class performance while crafting it’s Ninth generation, 2013 Accord which unveiled at North American International Auto Show at Detroit. All new Accord will coming by the end of 2012 both sedan and coupe model price under $21,380 to $29,930(Est) while the Accord plug-in hybrid will be launched by the Winter of 2013. It will take on 2013 Ford Fusion, the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, and the 2012 VW Passat.
The 2013 Honda Accord offers you three all-new powertrains and comes in tow engine option. all-new 2.4L direct-injected four-cylinder churns out peak power of 181 horsepower and 177 lb-ft. of torque mated with a six-speed manual or continuously variable transmission while the new 3.5L V6 is mated with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
On the Other hand The next-gen Accord plug-in hybrid powered by a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder paired to a 120-kW electric motor and a 6-kWh lithium-ion battery and an electric continuously variable transmission. It offers you three distinct driving modes: fully electric, hybrid, and “direct drive”. It can go 10 to 15 miles on electricity with a maximum speed of 62 mph and It takes 1.5 hours for complete charge on a 240-volt charger.
The 2013 Accord will debut ingenious new available features, such as Lane Departure Warning (LDW) , Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and the Honda-exclusive LaneWatch™ blind spot display and HondaLink™, a cloud-based system.
