South Korea’s second-largest automobile manufacturer, Kia has debuted it’s next generation 2013 Cee’d hatchback along with MPV/Crossover model at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. It will go on sale later this year priced between £14,395 to £23,795 in UK ($22,418 to $37,058 in USA). It will take on Volkswagen Touran, the Ford C-Max, and the Mazda 5 in world market.
Upcoming 2013 Kia Cee’d is expected to come both in diesel and petrol version. 1.6-litre 126bhp diesel and 1.6-litre 133bhp petrol engine mated with a six-speed manual transmission and offers you fuel economy 76.3 mpg UK / 63.6 mpg US.
The new Kia Cee’d MPV share the same platform as the upcoming Hyundai ix30. It will come both 5 and 7 seat option and also featuring ”tiger-nose” grille and LED daytime running lights with wraparound headlamp and a unique greenhouse, a sloping roofline and a tailgate-mounted spoiler. It also includes a an infotainment system and digital HVAC controls with a three-spoke steering wheel, gloss black trim and metallic accents.
