Korean Auto maker Hyundai brings you the stylish, spacious and comfortable SUV. I am talking about all- new 2013 Hyundai Santa-fe which debuted at 2012 New York Auto Show in in two wheelbase versions . The Santa-Fe Sport version offers you a two row five person seating space while the long wheel base(LWB) version offers you three-raw seven passengers seating space. New Santa-fe Sport will coming Hyundai dealership by late Summer but extended-wheelbase 7-passenger Santa Fe will be available in early 2013 priced between $25,000-$28,500(est) in USA while in India it will go sale priced between Rs 23 lakhs to Rs 26 lakhs . This killer SUV looks like the sixth-generation Sonata but biggest competitor of Chevrolet Equinox, Toyota RAV4, and Nissan Rogue.
The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport powered by a 2.4-liter Gasoline Direct Engine (GDI) or a 2.0-liter turbocharged GDI mated with a six-speed automatic transmission with Shiftronic manual control. The 2.4-liter variant churns out 190-hp and 181 lb-ft of torque and promising you EPA rated fuel economy of 23/33 city/highway comes with 17-inch wheels while the 2.0-liter turbo capable of producing peak power of 264-hp comes with 19-inch wheels.
Now come to the long wheel base version(LWB), it’s powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine churns out 290-hp mated with a six-speed automatic transmission with Shiftronic manual control. It’s comes with either 18- or 19-inch wheels. It also offers you extra 3 inch space for your comfort and luggage.
The new Santa Fe will be the first non-luxury CUV to get Torque Vectoring Cornering Control (TVCC) and Driver Selectable Steering Mode (DSSM) for better handling and feel behind the wheel.
