2012 New York Auto Show will be written in Golden latter in the world history because  The Flying car, The Transition® Roadable Aircraft, developed by Terrafugia, Inc., makes its auto show debut at the 2012 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS), April 6th through the 15th at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.  After years of testing and engineering breakthroughs, Terrafugia has decided it is time to share their unique product with the legions of fans attracted to the NYIAS.

According to TOI “ The Terrafugia Transition is  actually a two-seater light aircraft, which has a top speed of 185 kmph, a range of 800km on a tank of fuel and requires just 20 hours training to fly”. This dream car will cost you $279,000. It’s expected to be released in late 2012.

The vehicle, which requires just 15 seconds to fold its wings and re-route power from the propeller to the rear wheels, can be driven at up to 100kmph and will comfortably fit in a standard size garage.

According to the Daily Mail, Terrafugia founder Carl Dietrich was quoted as saying  “It’s like a little Transformer.
