The next-generation 2013 Nissan Altima made it’s world debut at 2012 New York Auto Show. It will go on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide by June 2012 at a starting M.S.R.P. of $21,500. It’s coming to take on Toyota Camry and Honda Accord in world market.
New Altima will be available in three trims S, SL and SV priced between $21,500 to $30,080. This five seater sedan is will powered by an advanced 2.5-liter 16-valve 4-cylinder rated at 182 horsepower (est.) and 180 lb-ft of torque (est.), or 3.5-liter 24-valve DOHC V6 rated at 270 horsepower (est.) and 258 lb-ft of torque (est.) mated with a Next-generation Xtronic CVT® with up to 40% friction reduction for improved fuel economy; V6 models feature standard column-mounted paddle shifters. It promising you the best non-hybrid fuel economy of 27 mpg city, 38 mpg highway and 31 mpg combined. It’s 79 pounds lighter than the existing Altima.
