Suzuki Motors has unveiled the hybrid version of it’s most popular hatchback with better fuel efficiency at 2011 Tokyo Auto Show. I am talking about Suzuki Swift EV Hybrid, it also known as Swift Range Extender and expected to hit the road by 2013.
The upcoming Swift EV Hybrid is powered by a plug-in lithium ion battery. which designed accordance with Chevrolet Volt. The battery full recharge time of only 90 minutes on a 200V outlet while in 100V outlet it will take 4 hours.
Range Extender covers 30km*4 with its fully charged battery alone and it can extend its range using an engine-driven generator. Compared with an electric vehicle that depends entirely on battery power, the Swift Range Extender has a more compact lithium-ion battery that is quicker to charge, weighs less, uses fewer resources, and costs less.
At last I would like to say that new Suzuki Swift EV Hybrid coming to give you style, comfort and fuel economy in affordable price. What you think? Please be open to give your view.
