Toyota Executive Vice President Takeshi Uchiyamada confirmed that the company plans to introduce six new hybrid vehicles by the end of 2012. But I would like to introduce you the most fuel efficient SUV the name is none other than 2012 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid which expected to debut in spring 2012 in estimated price around $30,000 and promising combined fuel efficiency in the 32 to 35 mpg.
You know Toyota is the only automaker which brings you two battery electric vehicles to the market in 2012 as the RAV4 EV and the Scion iQ EV. But no confirmation about pricing, features and release date.
The Lithium-ion battery-powered 2012 RAV4 EV will give you estimated traveling nearly 100 miles on one charge. It has a 660-pound battery which can give 37 kwh of energy for car.
The RAV4 was co-developed with Tesla and was first shown at last year’s LA Auto Show. It can rocket from 0-60 time of 9.0 seconds and offers a top speed of 100 mph.

Toyota Motors claims that upcoming U.S. could pencil in a hybrid Rav4 model in 2012. However no official confirmation about the release date and the pricing.
