ViewSonic to launch Windows XP phone

ViewSonic is all set to launch it mobile phone in the form of XP phone VPC08. This news is not official, the device is said to have an Intel ULV-series processor at its core. This new gadget is a perfect example of merger between PCs and mobile phones.

VPC08 has 4.3-inch display, along with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of integrated storage space. This mobile has QWERTY keyboard. Apart from that the phone also has a secondary 2-inch display and a keypad outside, making it easier to dial phone numbers.

The handset is so far restricted to China but may soon be shipped to the rest of the world. The VPC08 is said to cost the equivalent of $800.
